Research Universities

Prepare your CV, academic transcripts, Statement of Purpose (250–300 words) and 2–3 reference letters.
English Test
Take your English language test — IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge or PTE — and obtain your certificate.

Apply online via university portals or UCAS (for UG). Include all documents and pay application fees (£15–£50 each).
Wait for Decisions
Receive conditional or unconditional offers from universities. Keep checking your email and UCAS track.
Accept Your Offer
Accept your chosen offer and meet any outstanding conditions — such as final grades or English test scores.
Receive Your CAS
The university issues your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS). You receive the reference number by email.

UK Student Visa Process

Receive Your CAS
Receive your CAS reference number from the university — this is essential for the visa application.
Organise Documents
Gather: valid passport, CAS reference, bank statements, transcripts and acceptance letter.
TB Test (if required)
Complete the tuberculosis screening at an approved clinic if required for your home country.
Online Application
Create a gov.uk account and complete the online Student Route visa application form.
Pay Visa Fees
Pay the visa application fee (£719) and the Immigration Health Surcharge (£1,035 per year).
Book Biometrics
Schedule your appointment at the nearest visa application centre.
Attend Biometrics
Provide fingerprints and photograph at the centre. Receive your application reference number.
Submit Documents

Important Bank Document Rules
- 1 Statements must show funds for at least 28 days continuously.
- 2 Apply for your visa within 31 days of the statement date.
- 3 Original statements must be on official bank letterhead.
- 4 Include account holder name, account number and balance.
- 5 For joint accounts, ensure you are the primary account holder.
- 6 You must have access to the funds shown in the account.
- 7 If funds are in a parent's name, include proof of relationship and consent.
- 8 Statements must show the holder's full name clearly.
